FastStone works easily enough, and can do quite a bit of good editing if you want. I don’t personally like modifying things as much as Photoshop users do. DPP would work well at downsizing your images. You can choose just about any final resolution you want and modify the JPEG compression too.

I had the same problems with Image Browser Ex on Win I tried a batch tonight and it decimated all of them. I haven’t researched much into it, as what I was trying to do should have been straight forward. I’ve played with settings trying to get it behave, but I have had no luck. I generally find myself needing to import my images into Photoshop and save them to get the results I want, but that can be tedious. I don’t do a lot of editing, but spend more time with the camera import tool, then maybe some additional lighting touch up and noise reduction.
